Already spring in Portugal: At weekend, a friend of mine, illustrator Marco Schaaf attended a Catholic ceremonial in the South of Portugal. He spotted some vibrant flower decoration alongside the floor entrance in front of a white chapel. Soft lavender, midday flowers and ox-eye daisies were arranged like a Moroccan mosaic….I love how the flowers were juxtaposed in a colourful way. The pics are an inspiration board for all those who are making art with common garden flowers or merging the idea with a textile design...that's up next on this blog.
