An icon of British fashion and design, Celia Birtwell has been described as one of the most influential textile designer of her generation, and has dressed everyone from royalty to rock stars in a career that has spanned over 40 years. She was the muse of painter David Hockney and is famed for her gorgeous hand-drawn prints, inky florals in cream and aztec prints. I will write about her beautiful dresses later on this blog.
